Age Limit Criteria
For AMU Class 1 Admission 2025–26, the age rules are very strict:
- Date of Birth must be between 1 April 2017 and 31 March 2019 (both days inclusive).
- Candidate should be 6 to 8 years old as of 31 March 2025.

- Mode of Selection: Admission is through Draw of Lots only. There is no entrance test for Class I.

Fee Structure
As per the prospectus, the AMU Class 1 Admission fee details are:

Hostel Accommodation
There is no hostel accommodation for Class I students. Hostel facilities are available only from Class VI onwards in certain schools.
Reservation & Quota
Special seats are reserved in Abdullah School under AMU Class 1 Admission 2025–26:
- 50 seats reserved for children of AMU University employees.
- 20 seats reserved for children of daily wagers, fixed salary employees, and Dawakhana Tibbiya College employees.
Apart from these quotas, admission is open to all Indian nationals irrespective of caste, creed, or religion.

Cutoff & Merit Info
- There is no cutoff marks system for AMU Class 1 Admission, since the process is based on Draw of Lots.
- Merit is decided purely by the draw. If the child’s name is selected, admission will be granted.
Documents Required
At the time of admission, parents/guardians must bring the following documents in original along with self-attested photocopies:
- Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Corporation/Competent Authority
- Recent passport-size color photographs of the child
- Identity proof of both parents (Aadhar, PAN, Passport, Voter ID, Bank Passbook, etc.)
- Special category certificate (for reserved quota seats, if applicable)
